My Everyday Makeup Favorites..

Thought I would switch up my post for the week and talk about my favorite makeup that I wear on the daily, so here it goes:
1. Lancome Teint Idol Wear Long Wear Foundation- I love this foundation, it's super light and doesn't feel thick but it also has really good coverage. And for the girls who have semi-oily skin, this is definitely for you!
2. Benefit Hello Flawless Pressed Powder- I always set my liquid foundation with this powder, I find that if I don't my makeup comes off much quicker during the day.
3. NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer- I use this for under my eyes and any blemishes that I might have.
4. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer- I'm obsessed with this bronzer, it is super light and doesn't give you that orangish tan that you want to avoid. It also has a little shimmer, so it's more of a bronze glow than anything.
5. MAC Pink Swoon Blush- I dust this on my cheeks as a final step before I walk out the door, I love how it looks natural.
6. Make Up For Ever creme blush, color 335- Since it's a more brown toned blush color, I use this to help blend the bronzer and contour my cheeks.
7. NARS Albatross Highlighter- I apply this on top of my cheeks after I'm all done to bring a little sparkle.
8. Tarte Tartelette In Bloom- I LOVE this eye shadow pallet, it's neutral and the shadows go on very smooth and are easy to blend. If you are looking for a pallet that really can be very versatile, this could really create any look.
9. Smashbox Photo Finish Shadow Primer- I find that without this my eyeshadow doesn't stay on as long and it gets a little bit greasy.
10. Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner- This is perfect if you like winged eye liner like me, it's smooth and easy to use!!
11. Covergirl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara- A great mascara because it doesn't clump and and makes your eyelashes look super long while still giving them a natural look. I'm a big fan of drugstore mascara and this is by far my favorite.
Hope that you enjoyed a little look into my everyday makeup favorites! While some of the makeup is a little bit more expensive, I find that it lasts me awhile and I'm more satisfied with it in the long-run.

Today's post is dedicated to these adorable lace-up flats from Nordstrom Rack. I've seen this trend all over Pinterest and Instagram and thought that I should give it a try myself. After wearing them all day yesterday, they are pretty comfortable... maybe not the most practical if you are constantly taking your shoes on and off but for a day full of errands these would be perfect!
This past weekend was one to remember, on Saturday night Conner and I went on a double date with my housemate and her fiancé to the ice rink in downtown Columbus. The weather was warm and while I might not be the best ice skater, it was fun to have Conner attempt to teach me how to skate considering he's incredible(he's played hockey his whole life). It was also great to just enjoy time with friends and laugh about how bad we all were!
I'm definitely a planner so recently I've been thinking a lot about life and the future and what that will look like... and let me tell you, it stresses me out. I want to control things because I think I know what's best and I let things I can't control consume my mind. BUT- Life is too short and God is too good to worry about those types of things. Saturday night was a perfect reminder of how much he loves me because after a hard day, I got to spend time with people I love and enjoy the things of this world that he created.
